About me

It all started with a simple idea, fueled by a deep passion.

As a pickleball player, I desperately missed see photos and videos of the event, for example after a tournament.

Pickleball is a relatively unknown sport, which is why it's not often captured on camera.

With this feeling and idea, I became a photographer and videographer for pickleball events.

My goal is to capture the vibes of this sport through my lens and show it to the world.

Origins

My name is Carmen, although in Spain I'm better known as Capote. Yes, I'm Spanish by birth, specifically raised in Granada, Andalusia.

At 22, I came to Belgium with the idea of building a better career, and that was over more than 10 years ago. After so much time, I can say that I feel Belgian-Spanish; in fact, I also have Belgian nationality, which is why my second language is Dutch. Many people find this surprising, but it's true. I also speak a little French, as I decided to take classes at VUB.

And that's a very brief summary of my origins.
